It’s not a new story, but the FBI is taking social media to a new level with a new initiative to increase its influence on crime news stories and social media.
The FBI’s Public Information Program (PIP) has been running on Twitter for months now, but it’s now making a concerted effort to reach the masses in a way they haven’t before.
In the past, Twitter has largely been a haven for people to share their stories, but PIP is using it to reach out to crime victims, law enforcement officers, and the media as well.
In a tweet on Monday, the FBI posted about its latest effort to engage with the media, asking people to use the service for information on their communities.
The program is a way to get people’s stories out there in a more open way, and we think that’s an incredibly important part of our work,” FBI Director James Comey said in the tweet.
We need you to get the word out to the people of your communities that there is a real problem out there, and that there’s going to be an FBI presence on the streets.
We need you on Twitter to spread the word.
That’s what we’re here for.
The PIP effort comes at a time when Twitter is increasingly seen as a tool for disseminating the government’s view of news and politics.
Last week, Twitter announced it was working to create a new “trending topic” section on the social network, in an effort to address the perceived biases in the news that people are reporting.
Last week, the company also revealed plans to move more of its content into its “Trending Topics” section, and Twitter said it will start posting stories on the topic of terrorism and terrorism suspects in “breaking news” sections, rather than news sections.
The move comes after the FBI also launched its own program, the PIP Twitter Influencer Program, earlier this year, which seeks to influence the coverage of “breaking” and “troubled” news stories on Twitter.
It is not known how many FBI agents are on the PILP staff.
According to Comey, the program is designed to “improve and extend the reach of information on the FBI and our work to protect our communities from the threat of terrorism.”
The PILPs aim to “strengthen the voice of the FBI’s investigative community and the community at large,” he added.
The program was launched to improve the reach and impact of the information that the FBI has and share it with law enforcement, law-enforcement agencies, the media and the public, according to Comey.
The agency is also using social media as a way for people who have been impacted by a crime to share information about the crime with others.
In addition to the “news” section of the Twitter website, users can also post their story on the platform to garner attention and help the FBI find leads.
In November, the agency launched the “Crime News” section in the News Feed, which is a place for users to share stories about the crimes they have been arrested for, or those that have been solved, and to submit tips for investigators.
It has a section on “breaking and troubled” news, and “breaking information” is where users can share their tips for solving the crimes.
Twitter has been criticized for not doing enough to help users who are victims of crimes and the families of those killed in crime.
The company also has faced criticism for being too slow to react to crimes, and it has been accused of not providing the public with timely updates about the deaths of journalists.
The FBI has also been criticized in recent months for not releasing information about investigations into potential terrorism suspects.
