By The Associated PressA new report from the Pew Research Center shows that nearly half of Americans say they are likely to get news about the election from the media this week.
About 43 percent of respondents say they expect news about politics to come from outlets like the Associated Press and CBS News, while 24 percent expect the same from outlets that have been more likely to cover the election in recent weeks.
The AP’s new report, released Wednesday, comes after the AP announced plans to pull out of The Washington Times, The Associated, the New York Times and the Los Angeles Times after Trump won the election.
The AP also reported on its own hiring freeze, and that Trump and his team were moving away from the AP’s print and digital content.
The survey was conducted between Dec. 12 and 17, with 1,000 people polled.
