A remake of ‘Holidays’ that takes place during the holiday season, the animated Halloween film was announced at CinemaCon in Las Vegas on Friday.
The film, titled Halloween, will be directed by the filmmaker Matt Tolmach, who also wrote the script.
The Halloween remake will also feature the voices of Sarah Chalke, James Franco, Kate Winslet, Will Arnett, and John Goodman.
The original film was released in 1994 and spawned two sequels, and is one of the best-selling movies of all time.
It grossed more than $1.1 billion worldwide.
The remake is based on the popular series of novels, The Nightmare Before Christmas, and was originally made into a movie starring Sam Rockwell in 1998.
The book inspired a number of other films, including a remake starring Kevin Costner and Nicole Kidman.
The movie is based off the series of books by the same name.
